The British Association for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS)

Uneeka is proud to say that it has been a recognised member of BAFTS since 2005, an association of retailers who, although independent, unite in a core purpose, to bring about fundamental changes in the status of working producers through Fair Trade retailing and campaigning.

BAFTS members, and recognised importers, abide by principles that aim to achieve justice and dignity for everyone in society and work together to create an alternative model to conventional international trade; a model in which human rights and equality are at the top of the agenda.

Ethical Junction

Uneeka are also members of Ethical Junction, a "hands on" network of ethical organisations. There are over 1400 Ethical Junction members, all of whom are organisations that have committed to its core ethical policy. Ethical Junction exists to promote ethical enterprise (both charitable and entrepreneurial) and lifestyle, with the aim to grow ethical practice within society and the economy.

Ethical Junction provides platforms to members that can aid their growth such as, listings in a well-known directory site, unique advertising opportunities and contributing to an online publication.
