FTCI (Federation of Tibetan Cooperatives in India)

FTCI is based in Delhi and is a not for profit charitable society run by the Tibetan government in exile.

With the help of the Indian government and aid from other organisations a Tibetan settlement was formed in 1959 after 100,000 Tibetan refugees fled Tibet when the Chinese forces invaded.

There are currently 60,000 Tibetan Federation farmers living and working in India. FTCI now also works with local Indian artisans.
