The organisation employs about 90 people who work in the factory, and about 140 home workers when they're needed. All the workers get equal pay for both men and women, plus yearly bonuses, holiday pay and a special uniform suitable for factory work. The organisation gives regular donations to NGO charities for the development of rural India and also to their local holy education institute. The hand embroidery used on all the products is a traditional Indian skill carried out by highly skilled workers, many of whom work from home. This enables them to work, whilst still being able to keep their commitments to their families.
