Asia Werbel

Asia studied at Winchester School of Art in the creative field of Printed Textiles and Fashion, graduated in 1995. During this time Asia also studied at the Hochschule der Kunst, over in Berlin Germany, where her tutor was Vivienne Westwood. She then continued her studies at London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design studing a MA in Communication Design. Asia graduated in 1997 and has since been working as a freelance designer in a variety of areas. Asia's photography has been published widely; she was invited to exhibit in 'A Lady Named Instant' a polaroid exhibition in San Francisco. She was also shortlisted twice for bbc.co.uk's Photographer of the Year, along with her work being featured in Elle magazine, Graphics International Magazine, Digital SLR Photography magazine, Computer Arts Magazine and SHOT OF THE DAY Pocket Polaroid Series #003 book.

Asia first started making crafts when her children were born mainly for their nurseries and school craft fairs. Since then, the orders have kept coming in from numerous people and Asia has been suppling the demand! She also sells a selection of her crafts online at Etsy, the handmade marketplace as well as supplying various independent shops around the country including Uneeka.
