Caroline Jacque started producing a highly original range of individually luxury hand crafted unique bags and accessories, back in 2007. Caroline uses a mix of original designs and vibrant colours to produce a unique and tactile, high quality hand-crafted item. With a wonderful eye for colour and texture, her bags and purses combine fantastic attention to detail and quality of finish with a loveable quirkiness. All her accessories are designed and hand crafted in the UK. The bags are individually machine knitted and then felted using pure wool or cashmere. Then they are individually crafted using a combination of hand stitched rolled edges, quirky retro-print lining, hand stitched suede detail, hand crafted vegetable tanned leather handles, jewel encrusted key fob and adorned with a beautiful removable corsage. This process will take 2 days to complete per bag. All bags are designed and hand crafted by Caroline herself, but will call on knitters when extra knitting help is needed. Each flower corsage is hand knitted by lace knitters in the Shetlands, then finished by Caroline, incorporating suede, feathers and gem stones. Caroline was awarded The Giftware Association Award for Excellence 2008 and was short listed in 2009 for Gift of the Year-Premium Luxury.
