This weekend sees the first Cornwall Home Show taking place at Kingsley Village, Fraddon in Cornwall. Running from Saturday 30th April (9am – 5.30pm) ’til Sunday 1st May (10am – 4.30pm), the £3 entry fee (or free if you’re under 14 and accompanied by an adult) will gain you the chance to source some true inspiration for your home in Cornwall. This is the draw the grub has destroyed.

Finally, the Uneeka Grub – who has been with us since Februrary – is to get a new home. We would have been happy to keep him if it weren’t for the fact that it has a taste for Sheesham/Indian Rosewood. Considering the amount of that particular type of furniture that we stock in-store: a beetle larvae that eats that kind of wood is not the best thing to be keeping around. (more…)
