“What up?” update Friday – BIG NEWS!

Uneeka raised £14.24 for the Hanstand Appeal

This week has been seriously busy at Uneeka. We finally learned how much we managed to raise during the grub’s Comic Relief takeover and the grand total was £132.01p. The £1 bargain sale was meant to be £1 a go, so we’re still wondering where that 1p came from…

In other news, we recently handed over a fund-raising pot that had steadily been growing with change for the Handstand Appeal (HANDSTAND -The Appeal for Marshall Janson).  We’ve managed to donate £14.24p so far  to this cause which aims to raise money to help Marshall Janson, who had to have both his arms and legs amputated after contracting meningitis at only one years old.  The money is to help with funding for the numerous artificial limb replacements he will need as he grows up.

Please let us know via the Contact page if you’d like Uneeka’s assistance in helping to raise funds for charity or a cause that’s close to your heart.

But here’s the big news…

We’re still not finished with expanding the Uneeka.life store on Boscawen Street, Truro. And there’s a very important reason behind this…

We’re putting a café in downstairs. That’s right, a fair trade all ethically sourced, all singing, all dancing café. There now, the cat’s out of the bag. I can’t give you an exact opening date yet, but should you have been in the .life store recently and happened to hear the building work that’s been going on – the work on the café has been the source of all the noise.

Until the café opens, you can always check out our 20% off event, which is due to take place next Friday. And our Teak Sale ends next Thursday.
