A unique, flat and chalky matt paint designed to recreate the buttermilk paints of the 18th and 19th century. They are inspired by an authentic nordic French colour palette.
These paints are water based and can be mixed with one another to create new colours, but cannot be mixed with other types of paint. Thin water if necessary. No added lead.
For best results, ensure surface to be painted is clean and dry. Stir paint well before use. Apply one or two coats as required using a brush or roller. Do not overspread the paint. On walls keep a wet-edge going at all times and on funiture seal with an Acrylic Dead-Flat Varnish or Toluene-Free Wax if preferred. Clean brushes in water.
One litre of paint will cover approximately 12 square meters depending on the porosity of the surface. Do not use, nor store, in temperatures below 10 degrees centigrade.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediatly with water. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
